Great expectations, good delivery
This is a kind of movie which faintly indicates what is going to happen, but how is something which seems intriguing, especially when it involves a star studded crew directed by a veteran director. The Martian is a well-paced entertaining movie. It offers the regular sci- fi doses of amazing effects, enamoring scientific concepts and tech genius characters with a cool quotient who also happen to be the distinguishing feature of this movie. They all are very likable especially Michael Pena and Jeff Daniels who carried his 'a bit goofy, but a commanding boss' persona from the Newsroom. The movie doesn't really surprise, but it definitely is a well-cooked sci-fi movie for dinnertime
