Good job!
Amidst onslaught of
retro-omg-that-so-80's stuff these days I didn't expect this to be any
better than most random 80's fan service junk already out there. Then I
saw the movie.
I actually liked it very much. It's not perfect, far from it, but it is a competent movie whose creators knew what they wanted and then they made exactly that. Movie handles 80's theme very well and not doing "let just throw everything together and be random for the sake of randomness" fan service like some other recent "movies" (ie. Kung Fury, which was a 30 minute bad joke that was already stale after one whole minute... what I want to say - I didn't like Kung Fury and I think it's trash).
Turbo Kid is a bit sweet, Mad Max version for kids with more comical violence and gore.
